Paula Rimmer is Director of Development at Martha & Mary in Poulsbo, WA, a position she’s held since 2011.  A Bainbridge Island resident since 2004, she’s lived in the Seattle area since 1986, and previously lived in Chicago. She’s a native Iowan, but after 30 years in the Northwest, this is home.  Her career in fundraising began in 1978 and has allowed her to work with many different nonprofits.  She has served in major gifts and planned giving roles with Seattle Opera, Seattle Art Museum, and the Henry Art Gallery, and has supported capital campaigns with area consulting firms, as well as Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  Music and singing are life-long passions.  She sings with the Bainbridge Chorale and serves on the organization’s board, and is also a board member of the Seattle Opera Guild.  Previous board memberships include Orchestra Seattle/Seattle Chamber Singers, the Early Music Guild of Seattle and Seattle Baroque Orchestra.  Gardening, her Australian Shepherd Izzy, travel, anything cultural, and time with friends are all important pastimes.
